Looking forward to the pics, David. Hickam will make a beautiful backdrop for the show. Do you know which two members of the team you are meeting?

@Beaker - I can't remember where I read it, but a while back I heard the description of the perfect body type to handle Gs...chubby, short, high blood pressure. First time I've ever felt like a perfect specimen! BTW, your stick is very clever!

I will certainly be sending them an email... If it wasn't for the fact that I DEPEND on these forums for a good portion of our communications, I would not be reading this, because after the past couple weeks of agonizingly slow forums, I would give up if I was a casual member. :?

Does it require DirectX 10 (Vista) to look like the screenies, or is XP OK?

Re: Thanks Again

today when I get home from work I will relocate the PC closer to where the joystick is on my brand spanking new "Wolf Pit " and see if that makes any difference. I hope so. If not then I think I'd have to update my desktop to "Vista" which I am resisting very much. But if I have to, then I have to....

Re: Worn in/out FLCS & TQS

(Can't wait to see a pic of your throttle Gunner). This was about a year before retiring it (about 1,200 hours on the wing): http://www.summerthunder.net/images/posts/pit/Pit_31.JPG And the corresponding glove: http://www.summerthunder.net/images/posts/pit/Glove1.JPG Edit - this was six months late...

What are the rest of your specs (mobo, ram, GPU)? Trying to recall which brands/series you got for your new video card, and mobo... I'm thinking about building a new rig (later this year possibly). I'll likely need a new one for MW2 if I'm going to play on a big screen. I'm leaning towards the Core...

Good article and benchmark tests. What kind are you running in your new rig again, Gunner?
My new system runs a Core i7 920 overclocked to 3.9Ghz on chilled water for everyday use, I've had it stable at 4.4Ghz, but my chiller never turns off.

I'm sorry you're having issues downloading, please check out the Vimeo stream - I have watched it side-by-side with the original file, and can't see any difference.
