We'd like for our next video to showcase our skill a little better than the first one did (especially since we are a tighter team now). The first video had many shots from far away and I don't think only "showcenter" camera agnles would do us justice. We need to mix it up some more with cool close u...

Waypoints INOP in 1.1

After some more testing, I have to conclude that the waypoints are inop in 1.1. They only display correct heading info. Time and distance are only accurate under certain circumstances. I originally thought it was only if you were on the line between point A to point B, since they obviously only disp...

No can do at the moment! The real Thunderbirds public relations disapproved of any Thunderbird jets crashing into each other or the ground (after reviewing our first video) and for future associations with the real team (unofficial recognition) and the chances that may very well be on our doorstep f...

Hang tight! ...literally and patiently! We will host tryouts sometime in May with certainty, until then keep checking back here and we'll make sure to give ample notice about the tryouts so that everyone gets a fair chance to attend and have their puter, HOTAS, comms and/or mod installed prio...

You guys don't get it... it's not about the prettier plane, but the better pay! I'd take an Airbus any day over any non-NG Boeing (NG's are nice). I like the legroom, tray table and above all the sidestick on the bus!!! If I could choose, not regarding any job circumstantial things (pay, only...

I'm not sure about 1.02 anymore, maybe someone else can help you more on that? It definitely sounds like a lot of lag going on! Make sure you all select DSL 128/128 connection speed regardless of what you might actually have!

lieutfunaki, How did it go? Did you get anyone to join your server? Just to let everyone know once we start hosting tryouts, it will be with version 1.1 and 1.1 only! Just to give everyone interested ample time to grab it as soon as avail... The mod will be released for 1.1 prior to tryouts as well....

We are flying again, however the stutter is still there although reduced now! If I were you I'd hold of on getting 1.1 until they release the CD version in the states. Should be out by Naturalpoint sometime the first week of May. I don't even think 1.1 is available to download anymore, since they ra...

Well, you are mostly right my man! 3 gens, 1 system, however you still have the shed buses. When you're down to 1 or 2 generators you'll have one system and lose the sheds. Aside from that everything you said is correct! You DON'T want to turn off the bleeds. Your second hunch was right on the money...

Although that would be cool, we will not go beyond 12 pilots! We're still keeping the show pilots to 6 (just like the real guys), just cause it takes a tremendous amount of practice and finding a "Zen" between each other to fly like we do. You can't simply swap positions however you'd like to. The r...

I'm impressed... :D A few more for ya: If you get smoke in the cockpit/cabin, would it be a bad idea...

LOL! "Right on into Foooooouuuuoour (voice breaking)...... THERE"S FOUR!!!"

Bon (Ton) deserves every bit of #7. He knows the show better than anyone else I know and is definitely an invaluable asset to us! And of course his precision flying shouldn't be forgotten too!

Re: Another for try out

Please advise when you may have try outs for your #9-#12 positions or as backup of #1-#8 . Thanks Thunderbirds..Ready..Roll..Now.........Smoke ...Now We won't have any additional pilots backing #1-8. Team members #7-12 are the "backups" (although, we're trying to give everyone a meaningful role on ...
