LD-
I'm a lowly X-52 user for now - am convinced I need a Cougar with FSSB mod. Right now, I can't justify cost of both - should I go ahead and get the stock cougar, or keep practicing with the X-52 for a while :?:

Seahawk-
I haven't asked LD myself, but from the quality of his video I'm assuming he uses Sony Vegas. Most of the guys turning out top quality vids use it. I use Vegas 5 myself - great editing program. It's a little pricy, but you get what you pay for...I think they have a 30 day trial.

Thanks Burner,
I do have Track IR, but I've been using padlock as I join up - really helps to stay precise (At least my version of precise)

Maybe a goofy question - Do you tilt your head?

Unlike most of you T-Birds, I only have a little flying experience IRL. A little over 100 hours in gliders, and 4-5 hours rotory wing just messing around. I have done a bit of aerobatics in gliders - lots of fun. I've been practicing #2, #3, and #4 positions flying straight and level with a second s...

Tubs- Any photo software such as Photoshop, Corel, etc... gives you the ability to crop and resample photos. Your pics need to be cropped closer to the formation. I'm not sure about any freeware or shareware out there, but if you Google "Graphics software" I'm sure you'll find something. Great pics ...

Thanks Striker, I installed the VTB mod 24 days ago, and I can't think about anything else. I practiced with AI up until last monday when I purchased another copy of LOMAC and set up a multiplayer LAN. I have the monitors side by side on my desk so I can fly both, and I can have the Boss fly straigh...

Striker -
You are absolutely right, but until I can pony up the cash for a Cougar and FSSB mod, am I wasting my time with the X-52?

Been there...

Iqcorsa- Sorry to be the one to tell you, but the problem you are having is nothing new - at least to me. I am on my fourth X-52 because of exactly what you described. Thank God I got Comp USA's extra warrantee so I can bring it back no questions asked. This last replacement has been OK for six mont...
