AGP? Isn't that like dead technology? Wait a sec, I think I might have a PCI Voodoo card lying around. A 3000 perhaps.

That explains why Paramount all of a sudden dropped Blu Ray. I knew there had to be a "good" reason to drop the format that outsells the other by a 2:1 margin on a "balanced" week.

Is it possible that it's based on the size of the formation? I thought that #2 was on the right wing, but moved over to the left wing in a four ship. Remember, a flight of four is made up of "two twos". I believe a flight of 2 is a section and a flight of four, two sections, is a flight.

I agree with what Viper said 100%. I'll put it a little simpler though: That's the sound of Freedom. Love it or leave it! I commend LTC Pleus for his words in an emotional and incredibly important situation. His response was blunt, yet at the same time exceptionally respectful to the original compla...

Was this the one posted before? Regardless, if I read the ad correctly it is being sold by a former Thunderbird, and was not issued to a Thunderbird but comissioned by one for incentive rides. If I read that correctly then IMO it is NOT A TBird helmet but a replica.

I'm sorry, but I'm not on the bandwagon. Sure, faster internet is nice, but you DON'T need it. Downloading movies or something maybe. My old neighbor worked for Westwood Studios with a cable modem, and for that alone DSL was the decision. But unless you're doing something like that you do NOT need i...

I don't think I've ever seen a bird strike that didn't leave remains smeared on the airframe. I guess if it was a glancing blow it might not leave anything, but then you wouldn't know it hit. Wouldn't she have just gone "Damn that was close" and moved on were that the case?

The part right after the strike was cut out, but they didn't appear to even flinch. That was a well done engine failure at rotation, and the Captain or FO did an awesome job of knowing where he was, where he was going, and what had happened in a very brief period. Nice job by the controller as well,...

I always loved working on the ramp after it rained (just not during!). Once engines start spooling up, man it's cool. The funnel will move this way and that, even on only wet ground with no puddles. It's definatly cool to see up close.

33 in Vegas. Got a degree in Culinary Arts long ago, decided I didn't like it, floated around a bit. Landed at America West Airlines in Vegas as a ramper, now a team lead/weight & balance/loadmaster. Rebelling and refuse to say I'm employed by US Airways. Loaded probably all of Lawndats co.s planes ...
