It has to do with the F-16's APU. There is a chance that during an emergency fumes or some such could enter the cockpit. This is not a problem if you have your mask on so it's Air Force regs that they have to wear it. The F/A-18 doesn't have this problem.

I got a chance to tool around in BC2 on Tuesday and while MW2 is more visceral, BC2 takes the gold star for me. Open environments, destructible everything, true tactics rather than who's the fastest twitch shooter. Can't wait to get my new vid card so I can own it up online

Very Interesting, if they can calc speed of sound from the object to the camera you'd think they would have to have some sort of full 3D sound engine...

They have every right, it's their product.

Typical that they have pushed release seven months. Just a minor miscalculation of it taking quadruple the time and double the budget originally estimated.

The pic is funny, and the story is so typical. What's the old adage, if you give a mouse a cookie?

Darn right! The old mail pilots were the best. It's like Norm McDonald says about cliff divers, if you survive at all you're an awesome cliff diver!

Looks kind of like a futuristic set of Russian controls. I can dig it. I'm curious to try out these new generation Hall Sensor/FF sticks coming out.

How would denial of AR work in real life? These Su's would get past AWACS and F-22 CAPs to take out or disrupt AR operations taking place well behind the combat front? I don't see it. That said the F-35 program has been laughable since its inception, starting with the contract being awarded to the l...
