Metal shavings from my Cougar

I just noticed fine metal shavings under my stick - when I tapped it on the desk, I had shavings all the way around the bottom seam. Am I already wearing this out :?:

LD-
Nice tip - I've thought about that before, but not sure how to mount them. Unfortunately, I'm tied to using my desk cause I work at home & use the same monitor for my office system using a KVM switch. I think I read in one of your posts that you have a cockpit - was that literal or figurative?

On a lighter note...

I have a buddy that has been giving me a little sh*t about the time I'm putting in practicing, and the obsession the VTB thing is becoming for me. Yesterday, my girlfriend told him I'm ordering Nomex gloves for my Cougar, & he sent me this little cartoon he drew at the office this morning. :lo...

Pilot Operational Procedures

Found an interesting Doc:

Not at all specific to the Thunderbirds, but interesting nonetheless.

Sorry guys-
I had no idea this would turn into a political firestorm. I stand by my opinion - that guy was not a human being...but I suggest this thread be closed, and maybe deleted if you do that.

An Update: I did go & buy another hard drive & set up a fresh 32 bit system(I didn't want to trash the 64 bit 'cause I'd had it running for 9 months & didn't want to lose everything I'd tweaked). Installed LOMAC, the VTB mod, Cougar, and everything is perfect. The first time I switched back to the 6...

Yep, I understand! Things evolve too, so any "older post" could possibly be out dated, but in most cases very useful information regardless. Typically, it's mainly details in procedure and those of our real world counterparts that have become much more accurate for us over the past year and continu...

LD - I know who I'm quoting...Sorry for the cut & paste, but: PostPosted: Wed Feb 08, 2006 3:44 pm LOL Striker... Rudders are for finesse! Your other flight controls are what get you to where you need to be! Having said that, you couldn't make as precise of a roll without using all controls includin...

I'll stick with TM - I can wait till I find the right deal...It's not like I'm flying with much finesse at this point.

From Feb 8th:
Rudders are for finesse! Your other flight controls are what get you to where you need to be!
a quote from you I believe.
