Hi everyone. Just a quick note. I was at the McGuire AFB show last Saturday, May 12. Couple of interesting notes. #4 was replaced with #8 for the show. THEN....2 minutes into the show....everything shut down. #6 was reporting a problem with her altimeter. Took about 5 minutes...but ultimately it was...

abosolutely correct. Bottom line...just a sad day for all us aviators and aviation enthusiasts.

I agree...but nothing is ever a given. There are plenty of olympic atheletes..and even just atheletes that have dropped over during games, practices or even just at a shopping mall. These folks are also in the best physical shape...same as these pilots. Even with a flight surgeon checking them daily...

Where do the real Thunderbirds get their flight gloves ? The deerskin ones with a flag painted on them.

I've only seen some wide shots....and never any close up shots of the gloves.

Seems they went away from the nomex versions.

Anyone know ?
