Well I decided to go with an Akers Barnes pit since it's so cheap and really easy to build and modify... so here she is: http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj184/travo357/DSC00379.jpg http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj184/travo357/DSC00380.jpg http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj184/travo357/DSC...

Thank you for the quick response. I like the way my Cougar works now so I may be leaning towards the NXT. Sorry if I misread what exactly you said about the NXT (leading part). I'm thinking though if the NXT is really light and I may want the FSSB cause I like the heavy feel of the stock gimbals. I ...

Which Cougar mod?
I read quite a few post about the FSSB mod and the NXT mod for the Cougar... I'm thinking of modding my cougar and the NXT is quite a bit cheaper than the FSSB, but LD, I wonder why did you feel it was only good for leading? What did you like about it the most? How did it affect your flying formatio...

I actually think I get what you are saying here... i.e it took a while to register. Does this mean that let's say I'm flying slot and we are going to do a loop, as slot position I have to make a bigger loop so there is less pull to actually sustain my position, but since the loop is bigger I have to...

Yes sir. I noticed that I had to power up a bit to stay in position, but then it seems that in loops and rolls it's always in the float that I seem to lose the sight picture. I'm sure with about a million hours of practice it must be second nature to you guys. I think I may be giving too much power ...

Thunderbird mod
One question: I used your mod and everything looked great no problem... But when I uninstalled it , for some reason my in game audio didn't work anymore and my loading screen was gone as well as the begining screen where all the tabs are to open LockOn. The tabs were there but the background was gon...

Into the float...
I have searched through your forums and found a lot about the FLOAT....but one question if you dont mind? I know there is no one power setting and it changes from Boss to Boss but are you guys at idle when you go into the float? or I know I hear the power back but on your phantom I try to fly slot m...

You are very right. I did know they always go by weight. I work with G550's, G4's Westwinds Learjets, so the numbers are not quite as big, but I just prep the plane and fuel it and tow it. I take care of Bill Cosby's G4 and the pilot Clarence is funny guy... he never knows how much to put in. I had ...

Ya I'm sure it's easy to take things out of context and you really can't read what is felt behind the writing... Out of most of the forums you guys always seem to give me some better detailed answers and can put things in laymans terms for us computer retarded users. Trust me, I understand it's hard...

I know you guys get a lot of questions that seem the same just phrased different... I'm registered on Cougar World and I have gone on a lot of different forums, but to suggest reading the manual, like I'm some dumb kid is a bit rude. What do think I did, why I was aking for help. Mr. Burner has no o...
