I agree with what your taste is all about. For F4AF, I love the fact that you have to actually follow procedures to get the aircraft to start up, and run the systems, though there's a lot of in-op functions, it's still way ahead of LOMAC as far as avionics goes, and once you learn to implement those...

If you thought that was unbelieveable- This apparently happened at Top Gun a couple of years back. Two agressor F-18s got together. Here is one of them on final- This actually wasn't at Top Gun. These guys are located here at my air station in Va. Beach (NAS Oceana). They are a part of VFC-12. They...

Sony Vegas 6 help

Hey, I understand you guys use Sony Vegas for your movies and what have you. I really want to get to the point to where I can shy away from the Windows Movie Maker, and have the software, but just get intimidated every time I open it up, because I don't even know where to begin. If you guys could re...

But if you look on most USAF aircraft you WONT see a tailhook. I dont really know if it depends on the model of the plane if it has a hook or not, but I have seen a few. The reason why I say barely any USAF planes have a took is because I have spent time at Dover AFB, Dulles AFB, Oceana NAS, Putuxe...

Wow, looks like this is getting ugly. I think it's been stated enough how everyone feels about the differences (or lack of) for that team. I do think it's a bit messed not that the team decided to go ahead with their own project, but that they rushed a very similar web site, and didn't have in the w...

...if there's no way to get smoke on the ground, just remember that as long as you still got time to dust off your old vinyls, then there will always be "Smoke on the Water" God that's great.

Without the USAF, there would be no one to save the Navy in a dog fight. Hey there Scooter, I bet ya' ten bucks I can go upstairs and get a hold of one of our Junior O's and see if they'll let me burn some sensor and hud footage of just exactly what happens when the F-15's from Langley decide to co...

The "touch pad" you speak of in the Super Hornet is actually called the scratch pad. That is where they can control a number of autopilot related features, and also dial in various ILS, ACLS, NAV, and TACAN freqs. It can also be used to input various other functions, but for the most part, it's just...

I checked into my first squadron (VF-101 The Grim Reapers) in August of 2001, just weeks before 9/11 and was involved in all the chaos involved with that day from a military standpoint, and worked on all three mods of the tomcats (A-D) there, while training replacement aircrew to the fleet. While th...
