I'd like to add my congrats on the skill shown by the White Ravens. As an aside, I'd like to comment on the choice of music.... very nice, as it conveys the gracefulness of this kind of flying in a most appropriate way. With the VBA also showing their chops, this little niche market of ours grows mo...

Wow...isn't that beautiful? The RAAF had one of our F-18's painted in a similiar scheme not so long ago for its 75th anniversary.(RAAF is second oldest air-force after the British RAF). I wonder if that was the inspiration for that?

I can't see them using the F-22. Simple economics about using X number of 100 Million plus airframes would rule that out. The days of the USAF operating fighters in the numbers that they currently do will go. That is not to say that the USAF will lose it's punch. The force multiplier effects of a sy...

Johny, If you live in the UK be advised that the practice time we utilise are very difficult for pilots in your timezone. Typically we will be practicing around 5.00am UK time.

If this is not a consideration for you then drop us a line.

I have a laptop ( A Dell Inspiron) and regularly turn up at practice using it while I am away on a trip. (Although the connection from Perth, think halfway around the world from Phoenix where the boss is hosting, can be dodgy at times.)

It's just a matter of making the time.

This is actually an old USAF thing. Qantas pilots don't use the term "gripes". We also don't use "target radars"... (although sometimes I wish.....) Someone put Qantas into that email long ago and somehow it has stuck. I saw it back in the 80's when it was just a printed sheet going around th...

LD, "hell night". 4 hours of just loading you up with failures and if you do well, they'll keep loading you up more until your thinking almost comes to a halt. Along with the "anticipated" failures such as losing an engine, APU, fire etc. You'll also have hydraulic failures, pitch trim runaway, jamm...
