"If I could Turn Back Time".. VT Pilots?

Greetings All! A quick question for the VT (Virtual Thunderbird) pilots (past and present; shucks, future VT pilots can answer if they like!): If you could do it over again, knowing what you know now, would you have pursued a career as a pilot in the USAF? So one day you may have had a shot at being...

Panther,

You might want to inquire with Boss (the Commander/Leader) on that one.

Good Luck!

Hey Rhino, As Lawndart so expertly noted.... take all that with a grain of salt. A rule among fighter pilots you might want to keep in mind..... only 10% of any story being told actually has to be true :) You get my point. His comment was not meant to be taken and chopped up in scientific discussion...

Is it realistic to say, that if the VT (Virtual Thunderbird) Family made our Commander/Leader (#1... Boss) a female, that the real Thunderbird team would follow suit quite closely behind? Making their Commander/Leader a female as well? To Jonnyb and [SH]Falcon....congratulations! How are efforts on ...

Will there ever be a female VT (Virtual Thunderbird) Pilot?

Hello all! In keeping with the progressive attitude and nature that the USAF (United States Air Force) seems to have regarding this issue, will the VT (Virtual Thunderbird) Family ever assign a female pilot to the team? Or has this already happened in the past? Next year it appears that there will i...

This would certainly be a great way to promote interest in the Virtual Thunderbird (VT) Family. Perhaps someday, in the very near future, software compatibility issues will be overcome, and our Flyover/Remote Airshow programmes can really take off! I have much confidence that various "virtual" event...

Virtual Thunderbird (VT) Flyovers and Airshows

Hello All! I had a question regarding the Virtual Thunderbird's (VT) operations. Does the VT team ever provide "virtual flyovers" or "virtual airshows" for real-life "virtual events"? For instance, has the team every performed a "flyover" to begin a large-scale computer gaming event, i.e. a large fo...

Hello Boss, thank you for the timely reply to my question! Sir, it seems as though indeed these contacts the VT Family has with the Thunderbirds will pay off in time with Orientation Flights in the back seat of their F-16Ds. Very Super! Again, what a great recruiting tool you as the VT Leader/Comman...

I most positively took what Lawndart said to mean that there certainly IS a possibility for F-16 Incentive/Orientation flights with the real Thunderbirds in the future! What a great motivation for aspiring Virtual Thunderbirds! I would love to hear what the Boss has to say about this subject.... ver...

A Quick Question for Convertible (#7) and Cobra (#8 ); As we were on the subject of Orientation rides, I thought to ask if the Virtual Thunderbirds fly an Incentive/Orientation Flight profile much like the real-life #7 or #8 Thunderbirds do? Is it possible now, or would it be posible in the future, ...

USAF Thunderbirds Orientation/Incentive Ride Programme

Hello All! I wish everyone a wonderful weekend. While reading the forums here at virtualthunderbirds.com, I noticed discussion on whether or not USAF Thunderbirds knew the extent and nature of Virtual Thunderbird (VT) team. My question, as an observer at this point, concerns the nature of the VT's f...

Hello All!

Hello All! I wanted to introduce myself. I am Brian. I have been in amazement at the precision and esprit de corps seen here by the users of this program. One day I too would attempt to earn the badge of the Virtual Thunderbird. Only if every online forums had the cohesiveness that has been observed...
