I know I'm going. I will be in Vegas on Thursday evening and I'm taking my girlfriend with me. It's her first airshow ever. Her and I will be out there all three days. Looking forward to it!

That top picture you have, are you sure that's from '91? If I remember correctly the Birds transition to the C-models in '93, by the looks of the picture the top one looks like they are all C model F-16s. I might be wrong, please correct me if I am...

Gray nose was due to damage to their radomes protective strips that keeps it safe while in flight. That's all Depot level repairs and can't be done back at the Nellis hangars.

Luke AFB openhouse...

Everyone out at Luke is gearing up for the airshow. Here is a link that has some info on it for all of those who plan on going. The F-22 will be making its first aerial airshow apperance at Luke airshow this year. It's SHOW TIME!

Did anyone notice that the uniforms changed... the pilots now have wings on their show suits and the crew chiefs have their crew badges on them.

Former Thunderbird Commander/Leader Ralph "Hoot" Gibson passed away January 2 in Tucson.

I'm telling ya, as a season tickey holder for the Coyotes it's been a better season than last, but we can't win at home. I left after it was 5-3 in the third vs. the Preds. Great game played by both, but the Coyotes had a MAJOR defensive break down. That goal that Nash scored was a beauty... Again, ...

Cool thanks for the info. Im gonna give that a try. Using the tempera paint thinned out led to a lot of stains on the paint job itself. Ill definately check out an art supply store...

Takeone, Never thought of that.. Wish I had before I finished the kit. lOL.. Well i guess i ahve 4 more chances to get it rightLOL....Hey what did you uses to get all the detail in the panels??? Ive tried Tempera paint that was thinned out but it didnt seem to want to stick....Great Job once again.....

ITs an awsome kit!!! I bought 4 of them.. The Thunderbird ones.. ive got a bout 7 regular Tamiya 1/32 scale f-16CJs and 8 of the Academy 1/32 scale f-16s... ive built one thunderbird.. I had problems with the decals... They cracked on me... But overall a great kit to build...Now tamiya has made a 1/...
