do those effects have a name? maybe ill find some similar.. still looking to make neat racing vids but just cant find any decent effects to put that extra OOMPF into it =D

yea thats what i use, fraps ... i dont like it tho, it takes my game, which will run 60 FPS, and as soon as i start recording, take the frames to about 15 ish, or worse, maybe 20 if im lucky and my sys specs arent bad AMD Athlon 2800+ 1024 RAM GF Fx5600 w/ 256 but eh, fraps doesnt cost 200 bucks so ...
