Hi,... :-) Here's my suggestion: The "Relative Speed Indicator" or "Relative Thrust Indicator". To provide you with information that IRL your inner ear would. Let me explain. I assume you will be implementing something like LOMACs "Padlock". So when padlocking Lead (who would wanna fly formation wit...

Hi I'm "that guy" :-) IMHO throttle control is the most difficult thing to learn for a beginner. Anticipation is the key. If you see a deviation from the correct position, you're already 3 seconds behind. So it's of paramount importance to learn to anticipate. It does not matter AT ALL (!!!!) where ...

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!   Guys, that is unbelievable!!! I'm sure the average fligtsimming Joe will not be able to immagine the huge amount of work you put in this movie, because it simply looks so easy. ...but that's a demo pilots job, to make the flying look easy. You did a gre...

Although many people use it here, I found the Cougar a huge dissapointment: The Pros: -looks great -unlimited programmability The Contras: -Too much centerplay,... WAY too much!!! -Made of metal, but essential parts like switches and pots are of poor quality and need A LOT of Maintainance or replace...

Hi there, Sorry to see so many people having trouble with this file. LoMan 4.0 (Beta3) was used to create the file, and is needed to install it. It doesn't work with 2.1. The very latest version of LoMan (now called "ModMan") can be found here http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=download...

...I would have performed better Believe me, you would have performed awsome! I use the FSSB from Spain and I wouldn't wanna miss it. ZERO deadzone, neither in the CCP nor in Lomac. You can make inputs soooooo small, you can see them only when flying at 16x speed. No moving parts, no deadzone, abso...

I used the F-16 (F-15) with no external loads, 50% Fuel with Flaps 1. Exactly like the Thunderbirds fly. All testflights were done at 500ft MSL. on this one: http://www.alderwasguckstdu.de/Bilder/Speed%20Loss%20F-16.png All I did was pull the throttle back at high speed, and then note speed vs. time...

I finally made a LoMan file that does the work for you.. http://www.alderwasguckstdu.de/Downloads/Dirty%27s%20Formation%20Training%20Mod%20-%20Thunderbirds.zip It goes on top of the F-16 Mod. After install, the VTB F-16 mod will show yellow in LoMan b/c I had to change your meinit.xml file. It inclu...

Improvements in FC 1.11 Network Code
Hey, ...looks like ED worked on the network code. " greatly improved" and " no stuttering or lag reported" sounds pretty interesting to me. That's all I can release at the present time but i will ask ED if i can share some of the major fixes with you, i would like to add (I'm sure they won't mind ) ...

Hey, you were in Frankfurt on Thursday? Cool! too bad,... I was on my way to our extremely liberal neighbour-country to the North-West, Holland, to spend the weekend Windsurfing and just got home... Call me crazy, but guess what is the first thing I do on my vacation is? Start thinking about Tbird s...

Yeah, I came across those issues too . The center lift-line will definitely have to be drawn back onto the top of the canopy! It's #1 on my to-do-list! And do you have any other suggestions? There are a lot of things that may or may not make sense. For example the 4-Plane-Cross. When all four ...

Now I added the dashed lines for speedbrake-extended performance (you may have to hit the "reload" button). It is clearly visible that speedbrakes give you about twice the parasite drag, and so only about 1/4 of distance is required to decelerate to Leads speed. Those speedbrakes seem to be a litte ...
