Steph,

"Bank Angle!" "Terrain!" "Stall...Stall!" They couldn't get away with that in any Air Force I know of. Great demonstration though! (Pretty sure that all the Hercs I know of have a 60 degree bank angle limitation...) USAF sure washed their hands from that demo... "Insert brown suiter's" "Remove liab...

We are all on the same team (big picture) and if we are all so professional then let's assume from our small community that every comment isn't interpreted in the most negative fashion. With that any collision in these guys line of work is absolutely terrible but I think LD has a point if we were ra...

I could be wrong, but I'm told the core of a jet's exhaust that is actually damaging isn't much wider than the airframe. Any insight on that from the jet pilots around here? There's a version of this with the HUD tape here: http://gizmodo.com/5809436/exclusive-cockpit-video-of-the-craziest-flyby-ev...

Don't have the video since this technically never happened. But I might have seen 8ft on the rad alt at 125 GS over Lake Tharthar, Iraq in the middle of the night. But then again it never happened, so please dismiss it. Pavelow Leads! http://pavelow.us/piwigo/upload/2011/03/22/20110322213658-719b3d8...

New oxygen masks look retarded on that older style helmet. They probably just ran out of the older ones. They don't look proportionally right. I fly with the new ones and they are nice though. Tbirds did an OK show at Beale. Still spread out as heck and the team is definitely in early season of flyi...

You know you're flying too much when...
This thread is for those of us out there that have put in way too many hours virtual or real flying in formation and finding out out that you seem to do it in other things that you do in your life. I encourage everyone to add their little "ah crap, what am I doing moments." 1. Driving down a two or ...
