The only down side is that it (and the aircraft) is coded in XML, and uses vector graphics. The combination of an XML interpretation engine and vector graphics kills FPS. FSX also does it by itself.

Do you mean like a tower view like the ones in FSX/FS9? If so, you need to cycle through the F11 views until you find one near your airplane, or press Ctrl + F11 to set a tower view at your current location. Pretty sure (if I understand your question correctly) that it's plug and play with all of the buttons and switches already mapped.

It might be a hoax, I have no clue, but it's an interesting concept. If you compare them to skipping rocks, they may be able to achieve "walking on water". I've been trying to look up what makes a rock skip, but can't find any good resources of why a random spinning rock skips on the water.
