I had another question. Can anyone tell me why the Thunderbirds declared my airport's runway, (6,600 feet) too short? All the other jet teams use it, F-15's, 18's, Blue Angels, Red Arrows, the Soviets, and I'm fairly sure the Tbirds used it in past shows, why suddenly would they declare it too short?

My son and I just got back from the show. Must say the Tbirds were quite impressive this year. Was finally able to get a listen in on the diamoind channel, but it was an FM channel, and it had a constent carrier signal, which prevented me from hearing the airboss or the solos. Is that AM or FM? I'm assuming AM, but want to make sure.
